Our mission

The Foundation is a registered UK charity which supports clinical pharmacy education in sub-Saharan Africa with the objective of improving health care. The reason for the initiative is the lower level of health care in the region as measured by expenditure, resources and outcomes.  Our focus is on clinical pharmacy i.e. information that will help pharmacists (and in some cases, physicians and nurses), provide practical help for patients.

The Foundation has already helped students in Namibia, Ethiopia, Malawi and Botswana, some of whom have graduated.  By participating in the Foundation’s work, students will benefit and contributors can be part of the pharmacy community.
