Wala High school is in the Chiradzulu district of Malawi just outside Blantyre and has limited resources such as internet and equipment for recreational activities.
The Foundation has provided educational equipment, the RACHEL which is Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education as well as tablets, computers, a projector and cell phones so that the students can access the information. The school will monitor the effect that the use of the RACHEL has on academic performance and school attendance.
The Foundation has provided sports clothing and is also supporting a girl who had dropped out of school after a teenage pregnancy to return to her studies.
